Meet The Breeder

We are a home-based breeder located on the outskirts of Chatham, Ontario dedicated to maintaining the integrity of our breeds by producing the complete German Shorthaired Pointer and Bracco Italiano; both versatile dogs with enough drive and intelligence to compete in multiple performance/competition venues, the natural ability and instinct for working and field, the type and conformation to strut their stuff in the show ring and most importantly an excellent temperament that will allow them to excel in your home as beloved family companions. All of our dogs are loved companions first and foremost, living with us and some amazing co-owners as apart of the family, and we enjoy sharing our lives with this wonderful breed on a daily basis. We compete with them in multiple venues and are happy to offer knowledge and advice on the breed. We occasionally have puppies and adult dogs available to loving, approved homes. I started Shadowland in 2012, though our family has loved this breed for many years prior. As of 2022 we are so excited to welcome our first Bracco Italiano. Another versatile sporting dog, we will follow the same goals and ethics as we have for our GSP's moving forward with this ancient breed.
