Meet The Breeder

At Raven’s Labradors, our love for dogs runs deep—and it started long before we ever bred a litter. My husband and I both grew up with Labradors, but our passion for the breed truly took root when our first son was little. A close family friend, who was also a Labrador breeder, watched him while we worked. Over the years, we were lucky enough to be around her dogs—both puppies and adults—and were struck by their calm, loyal temperaments. It was then we knew: we wanted to be part of preserving and sharing this incredible breed. Once we made the decision that I would stay home after having our second son, we finally had the time to pursue that dream. Our search for the perfect English-style Labrador took nearly a year, but it led us to our beautiful girl, Lola. We know firsthand how hard it can be to find a puppy that checks all the boxes—temperament, pedigree, and purpose—and that’s the standard we’ve held ever since. Our program is dedicated to producing the all-purpose Labrador Retriever: dogs that excel in the field, shine in the show ring, serve in therapy or service roles, and—most importantly—thrive as cherished family companions. We follow the AKC breed standard closely and place strong emphasis on comprehensive health testing—including hips, elbows, eyes, DNA, and cardiac exams—as well as temperament, structure, hunting instinct, and purposeful, pedigree-based pairings. Our puppies are raised on our working ranch and are thoughtfully socialized with children, other animals, and a variety of daily life experiences to ensure they grow into confident, adaptable companions. Every litter is the result of careful planning, deep consideration, and a whole lot of heart. When you bring home a puppy from us, you’re not just getting a dog—you’re gaining a lifelong support system. We’re always here to answer questions, offer guidance, and support you every step of the way. We’re proud to raise puppies that are spunky, smart, and truly Labrador, and we’d be honored to be part of your journey in finding the right one.
