Hi, I’m Annie, the conservation breeder behind Charm City Poms, based in Baltimore County, Maryland. My work is centered on the thoughtful preservation and advancement of the Pomeranian, producing dogs with exceptional health, stable temperament, and beautiful, correct breed type. As an AKC Breeder of Merit and participant in the AKC Bred With H.E.A.R.T. program, I am committed to purposeful breeding that supports the long-term integrity of the breed. All breeding dogs are health tested in accordance with parent club recommendations, with results publicly available through OFA, and additional DNA screening through Embark to support informed decision-making. My program is deeply pedigree-driven, with an emphasis on consistency, structure, and generational planning. Charm City Poms is also known for working with AKC-recognized but less traditional colors, including self-colored and tan-pointed Pomeranians, as well as occasional parti and merle. My focus is on preserving true type within these colors, bringing quality and intention to areas of the breed that are often overlooked. I believe in being an ambassador for responsible breeding practices and in contributing to a stronger future for purebred dogs. This is a small, intentional program where every pairing is purposeful and every puppy represents a step forward for the breed.
