CLT Russells has been involved with AKC Russell Terriers for 20 years. We have bred one of the first 10 AKC Russell Terriers to have earned the Grand Champion Title. We were involved in the beginning stages of the breed entering into AKC while being a breed ambassador and Parent Club Member. We have represented the breed with our own dogs at many Meet The Breed Education booths at large events like the America’s Family Pet Expo. We are located in the High Desert of Southern California We are a Small Hobby Breeder of AKC Russell Terrier's. Russell Terriers have often been referred to in the past as Short Legged Jack Russells and Shorties/Shorty. We Breed to the Breed standard and are improving conformation with each generation while eliminating dwarfism like crooked front legs and higher in the rear than the shoulders. CLT's little treasures are AKC/UKC Registered. They are microchipped with current shots and worming. Our Dogs are all OFA and Embark health tested and have been shown in AKC and UKC Conformation. Showing dogs is a good test of their temperament as well as a great tool for us as breeders to better our dogs in order to move forward with the dogs that best meet the standard of the breed in both structure and temperament. Our top priority is Health and correct structure. We do not breed our dogs all the time and don't set individual puppy prices. Each Litter has a different price depending on their parents and their show records. So please keep that in mind when you see that all of the puppies are not priced the same.
