Meet The Breeder

Hi, I’m Carrie, and I’m the breeder behind Caran English Springer Spaniels, based in Middleton, Idaho. I’ve been devoted to this incredible breed for nearly 30 years, with a passion for producing well-rounded Springers who excel in both the show ring and performance arenas—and, most importantly, make loving, loyal companions. Over the years, I’ve had the joy of raising and training dogs that have gone on to achieve top titles in agility, obedience, and conformation. One of my proudest achievements was with Caran Nitewinds Space Cowboy (OA NAJ), who was recognized as Novice Jumpers With Weaves Agility Springer of the Year. Moments like that remind me why I put so much care into every breeding decision. At Caran, I focus on sound structure, excellent temperament, and the versatility that defines the English Springer Spaniel. Whether competing, working, or simply being a beloved family dog, my goal is to produce Springers who are intelligent, people-oriented, and well-prepared for whatever life brings. If you're looking for a Springer that’s bred with thought, heart, and experience—I’d love to be part of your journey.
