Meet The Breeder

Queen City Farm began with a simple goal: to raise dogs the right way—with intention, integrity, and a deep respect for the animals in our care. We are a small, family-run farm and Australian Shepherd breeding program rooted in Kentucky, where our dogs are first and foremost beloved companions and working partners in our daily life. They are raised in our home, surrounded by normal household activity, livestock chores, training sessions, and plenty of human interaction. Our dogs are not kennel dogs—they are part of our family. Our passion for Australian Shepherds comes from a love of the breed’s intelligence, versatility, and heart. Aussies are thinkers, workers, and deeply loyal companions, and we believe they deserve to be bred with care and purpose. Every pairing we plan is intentional, with careful consideration given to health testing, structure, temperament, and long-term soundness. We breed with the goal of producing dogs that can excel as loving family members, sport and performance dogs, service and therapy prospects, and sound representatives of the breed. Health and temperament are non-negotiable priorities here. Our dogs are fully health tested according to breed recommendations, and we place a strong emphasis on stable, confident temperaments that are well-suited for real life. Puppies are raised with early neurological stimulation, age-appropriate enrichment, and a strong foundation in confidence and resilience before ever leaving our home. We believe responsible breeding doesn’t end when a puppy goes home. We are committed to lifelong support for our puppy families and value the relationships we build with each home. When you bring home a Queen City Farm puppy, you become part of our extended family—we’re always just a message away for guidance, questions, or updates. Queen City Farm is more than a breeding program—it’s a lifestyle built around stewardship, education, and doing right by the animals entrusted to us. We’re honored to share our dogs and our farm with families who value the same care, ethics, and intentionality. If you’re looking for an Australian Shepherd raised with purpose, transparency, and heart, we’d love to connect with you.
