Meet The Breeder

Hi, I’m Barbara, and I’m the breeder behind Aguas de Seda Portuguese Water Dogs in Ocala, Florida. My program is rooted in a deep love for the Portuguese Water Dog and a commitment to preserving the breed to the highest standard. I’ve been involved with PWDs for several years, and each pairing I plan is done with purpose—prioritizing health, structure, and the wonderful temperament this breed is known for. All of my dogs are fully health tested, including hips, elbows, eyes, PRA, GM1, JDCM, and more, and I’m proud to be listed as a breeder with the Portuguese Water Dog Club of America. My goal is simple: to raise confident, well-socialized puppies who embody the best of the breed and bring joy and companionship to their families. Every puppy placed is a piece of my heart, and I’m committed to supporting each one for a lifetime.

Pricing Information

The total price listed includes a breeder deposit if applicable. DOGGIT will introduce the puppy buyer and the breeder to get to know each other. Growing a strong bond with a new puppy starts with a close relationship with the chosen breeder! The deposit is collected by the breeder directly once the breeder approves the puppy buyer. This means a puppy or future puppy from the breeder is reserved! Deposits are refundable if the breeder does not have a puppy for the puppy buyer, or has unreserved a puppy. The DOGG!T Matchmaker Service fees are also collected once a puppy is reserved. Matchmaker Service fees are transferable if the puppy buyer decides to go with another breeder. * We are committed to finding a puppy buyer the perfect breeder and puppy match. Once the puppy buyer and breeder confirm 'Gotcha Day' hand off, the remaining balance will be paid to the breeder directly or through DOGG!T payment services.
