Michelle Barlak has been devoted to purebred dogs since childhood, showing her first Manchester Terriers at just 10 years old. With more than 30 years in the breed, she has built a reputation for producing Manchester Terriers that excel in both the show ring and as beloved companions. Under the Maximal Manchester Terriers name, her dogs have earned multiple AKC championships, grand championships, top conformation rankings, and performance titles—including MACH and Master Earthdog. Beyond the ribbons, Michelle is passionate about raising well-rounded, healthy, and confident puppies. Every Maximal puppy is carefully bred, lovingly raised, and thoroughly socialized to ensure success in family homes, performance sports, and therapy work. A leader in the breed community, Michelle serves on the board of the American Manchester Terrier Club and chairs its health, rescue, and breeder mentor committees. She has presented judges education seminars, mentored judges, and was honored with the AKC Outstanding Sportsmanship Award. Michelle lives in New Jersey with her husband, and a lively pack of Manchesters. Dedicated, experienced, and approachable, she takes pride in supporting her puppy families for life.
