Papillon

The Papillon is a small and elegant toy dog breed known for its distinctive butterfly-like ears, intelligence, and lively personality. These dogs typically weigh between 5 to 10 pounds and stand around 8 to 11 inches tall at the shoulder. The Papillon has a fine-boned and graceful build, with a slightly rounded skull, expressive eyes, and large, fringed ears that resemble butterfly wings. They have a long, flowing coat that is silky and straight, with feathering on the ears, chest, legs, and tail. Papillons come in a variety of colors, including white with patches of any color, but are most commonly white with black or red markings.
