Originating from Canada, these dogs were bred for their exceptional hunting abilities, particularly in luring waterfowl within range of hunters. Tollers have a medium-sized, athletic build, typically standing around 17 to 21 inches tall at the shoulder and weighing between 35 to 50 pounds. Their double coat is water-repellent, with a soft, dense undercoat and a longer, straight outer coat that comes in various shades of red and orange.
