Boykin Spaniel

The Boykin Spaniel is a versatile and energetic breed known for its excellent hunting abilities and friendly disposition. Originating from South Carolina, this medium-sized sporting dog is well-adapted to both land and water retrieval tasks. Boykins typically stand around 14 to 18 inches tall at the shoulder and weigh between 25 to 40 pounds, with a distinctive rich brown coat that is moderately wavy or curly. They possess a keen sense of smell and are skilled at flushing and retrieving game, particularly waterfowl and upland birds.
