Beagles have a compact and muscular body with a slightly domed skull and a square muzzle. Their eyes are large, expressive, and often have a pleading look that can melt hearts. Their ears are long and droopy, reaching down to their nose, which helps in funneling scents toward their nose while on the hunt.
